About the Role

Provide administrative and organizational support to the Care Office Ministries by coordinating daily and weekly tasks in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare the Hospital List as needed—once per week, as well as any time the Pastoral Care Assistant is out of office.
  • Process Nexonia statements for Pastoral Care, Counseling, Cherish Kids, and Mercy in Motion.
  • Maintain the Homebound List and send birthday cards to those on the list.
  • Order supplies and assemble new baby gift boxes as needed.
  • Assist Pastoral Care with flower and gift orders.
  • Help complete tasks during peak calendar times (e.g., Launches, Season of Giving, Trainings).
  • Process all eSpace needs for the Care Office Ministries.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of modern office methods and procedures, filing, telephone techniques, and office equipment.
  • Proficiency in English usage, spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
  • Exhibit good judgment, honesty, integrity, responsibility, and punctuality through professional work standards.
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Detail-oriented, accurate, with the ability to multi-task and handle frequent interruptions.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with supervising personnel, co-workers, civic organizations, business professionals, and the general public.

  • Develop and maintain a close personal walk with the Lord, including daily devotional time and dependence on the empowerment of the Spirit.
  • Develop a strong marriage and family life, including communication with your spouse and spending time together.
  • Keep personal finances in order with no delinquencies.
  • Attend all regularly scheduled church services; special services and functions as deemed necessary by the Lead Pastor.
  • Maintain a high level of personal integrity, honesty, and confidentiality in dealings with staff and congregation.
  • Maintain a Christian outlook and attitude at all times.
  • Maintain loyalty to the staff and church, actively promoting unity within the church.
