About the role
Circle of Care for Families and Children of Passaic County, Inc. is seeking to hire and train full-time Care Manager Support Specialists.
Responsibilities
- Support children with behavioral challenges and their families
- Learn to use the Wraparound Model to form a Child-Family Team
- Coordinate both formal and informal supports
- Utilize family vision, crisis plans, strengths & needs assessments, and care plans
- Work with Care Managers to drive and travel approximately 50-70% of the time
- Assist with administrative tasks
Qualifications
- 0-2 years of experience
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Criminal Justice)
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Flexible schedule including early morning and evenings
- A heart for children with complex needs including behavioral, emotional, and developmental disabilities and their families
