About the role
Circle of Care for Families and Children of Passaic County, Inc. is seeking to hire and train full-time Care Manager Support Specialists.
Responsibilities
- Empathetic, creative, and resourceful
- Flexible, organized, and reliable
- Committed to supporting children with behavioral challenges and their families
- Supporting families in designing, implementing, and managing individual service plans (ISPs)
- Using the Wraparound Model to form a Child-Family Team
- Coordinating both formal and informal supports
- Utilizing family vision, crisis plans, strengths & needs assessments, and care plans
- Fulfilling the goal of Circle of Care: Keeping youth at home, in the community, and in school while creating self-sufficiency
Qualifications
- 0-2 years of experience
- Bilingual Spanish, Arabic or Bengali preferred
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Criminal Justice)
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Able to work a flexible schedule including early morning and evenings
- A heart for children with complex needs including behavioral, emotional, and developmental disabilities and their families
