Care Associate - Assisted Living (AL)- PRN 3pm to 11pm

About the role

This role involves assisting residents in the Assisted Living Program with their activities of daily living, ensuring they live a quality life with dignity.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, and escort services.
• Follow the schedule of resident needs set by the supervisor.
• Document daily logs of assistance provided.
• Inform the supervisor of any resident issues or concerns.
• Respect and encourage the independence and dignity of the residents.
• Respect residents' confidentiality.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in senior care.
• Acceptable proficiency in English to perform job duties, communicate with supervisor and other employees, and respond to emergency situations.
• You may need a CNA or CHHA license depending on the state.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Compassionate, professional, kind, engaging, empathetic, and helpful personality.
• Able to work as part of a team and handle multiple tasks safely and efficiently.
• Ability to make independent decisions when necessary.
• Capable of solving practical problems and dealing with high-stress situations.
• A positive and friendly demeanor towards residents and colleagues.
