Care Associate - Assisted Living (AL)- FT 2nd Shift (3pm to 11pm)

About the role

In this role, you will assist residents in the Assisted Living Program with their activities of daily living, supporting them in leading a quality life while preserving their dignity.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, and escort services.
• Follow the schedule of resident needs set by the supervisor.
• Document daily logs of assistance provided.
• Inform the supervisor of any resident issues or concerns.
• Respect and encourage the independence and dignity of the residents.
• Respect residents' confidentiality.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in senior care.
• Acceptable proficiency in English to perform job duties, communicate with supervisor, and respond to emergencies.
• You may need a CNA or CHHA license based on the state.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Compassionate, professional, kind, engaging, empathetic, and helpful personality.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and manage multiple tasks safely and efficiently.
• Capable of making independent decisions when necessary.
• Skilled in solving practical problems and handling stressful situations.
• A positive and friendly demeanor towards both residents and colleagues.
