Care Associate - Assisted Living (AL)/3PM-11PM/2nd shift/FT & PT!

About the role

In this role, you will assist residents in the Assisted Living Program with their daily activities, ensuring they live a fulfilling life while maintaining their dignity.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, and escort services.
• Follow the scheduled needs of residents as outlined by the supervisor.
• Offer emotional and social support to residents.
• Document daily logs of assistance provided.
• Inform the supervisor of any resident issues or concerns promptly.
• Respect and encourage the independence and dignity of residents.
• Maintain residents' confidentiality.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in senior care.
• Acceptable proficiency in English to perform job duties, communicate effectively, and respond to emergencies.
• May require a CNA or CHHA license based on the state.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Compassionate, professional, kind, engaging, empathetic, and helpful personality.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and manage multiple tasks under pressure.
• Capable of making independent decisions when necessary.
• Skilled in problem-solving and handling stressful situations.
• A positive and friendly demeanor towards both residents and colleagues.
