• Position Summary

  CardVault by Tom Brady seeks a detail-oriented and creative student to support the design and fabrication of custom vault systems. This role involves using 3D modeling software to design and develop components for vault displays and storage solutions.

• Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Utilize 3D modeling software to design and refine vault components
  • Aid in creating technical drawings, renderings, and specifications for fabrication
  • Collaborate with the Fabrication Manager to translate concepts into manufacturable designs
  • Support revisions and iterations based on feedback from internal teams and fabrication partners
  • Organize and maintain design files, documentation, and version control
  • Participate in site visits to observe production and support design implementation

Requirements

Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree program in Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or a related field. Experience with 3D modeling/CAD software required (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or Onshape preferred). Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to take direction and work both independently and collaboratively. Interest in fabrication, manufacturing, and physical product development. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Teams, etc.) required. Strong organizational and communication skills.

The physical demands described are representative of those required to perform the essential functions of this role. This position is semi-remote and requires availability in Charlton, MA for in-person meetings and site visits at least twice per week. Extended periods of sitting, typing, and computer use. May be required to lift or move up to 50 lbs using proper lifting techniques.
