Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures, including advanced interventions.
• Verifies orders, facilitates implementation, and communicates with physicians as needed.
• Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions and documents patient care accurately.
• Maintains and operates equipment and supplies for cardiovascular procedures, ensuring proper setup and sterilization.
• Assists physicians in invasive cardiology and peripheral vascular procedures, including administering contrast media.
• Performs a variety of cardiovascular technical procedures requiring independent judgment and the application of ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnoses.
• Includes training and certification to perform structural heart procedures.
• Performs advanced vascular cases or functions in advanced electrophysiology roles.

Requirements

• Associate degree [Required]
• Bachelor's degree [Preferred]
• 1+ years of electrophysiology experience [Required]
• 2+ years of position-related experience [Required]

Skills

• Basic arrhythmia interpretation [Required]
• Advanced levels of ECG training and arrhythmia interpretation [Preferred]
• Computer knowledge and skills [Preferred]

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) [Required]
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) [Required] OR
• Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) [Required] OR
• Registered Radiology Technologist (RT)(R)(ARRT) [Required] OR
• Registered Nurse (RN) [Required]

Pay

Pay Range: $29.04 - $54.02 per hour

$10,000 Sign on Bonus

Schedule

• Full time
• Day shift
• 5x8 hour shifts Monday through Friday
• Call 10 days a month
