As Cardiovascular Technician II, your skills will help physicians identify and diagnose issues with the heart and surrounding blood vessels. As needed, you will process test results, ensuring absolute accuracy and clarity. Within this unit, you will collaborate with fellow caregivers and supervisors to facilitate a positive, welcoming patient experience, from initial introduction to final sendoff. Schedule

6:30am to 3:00pm, no weekends or holidays required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform 12-lead Electrocardiograms, Holter Monitor Hook-Ups and Cardiac Stress Testing, including 24-hour, 48-hour, and 30-day event monitors and/or EEG testing.
  • Notify physicians, nurses or managers of abnormal results.
  • Notify secretaries of needed supplies.
  • Maintain/troubleshoot equipment and notify Clinical Engineering of ongoing problems that cannot be resolved.
  • Process test results before and following physician interpretations.

Minimum qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Basic Life Support (BLS), Healthcare Provider Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross

Preferred qualifications

  • Credentials as an Allied Health Professional
  • Completion of a Cardiac Technician and EEG Program
  • Six months of experience as an ECG Tech and Stress Testing experience

Physical requirements

  • Hand dexterity sufficient to handle ECG equipment and Holter monitors.
  • Standing and walking for extended periods of time.
  • May be required to lift up to 25 pounds.

Pay

Minimum hourly: $16.47. Maximum hourly: $23.61. The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires. A successful candidate's actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate's work history, experience, skill set and education.
