About the role
The Cardiology Technician in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory provides technical support during invasive cardiovascular procedures and performs basic patient care under RN supervision.
Responsibilities
- Assist with patient comfort and positioning during procedures
- Prepare and maintain equipment required for cardiac catheterization
- Support procedural tasks such as catheter and sheath removal
- Ensure a safe, clean, and sterile environment
Requirements
- Completion of a radiology program
- ARRT-R or RCIS/CCI credential
- Current BLS certification
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory preferred

- Proficiency in operating hemodynamic and imaging equipment
- Effective communication with patients and healthcare team members
- Adherence to safety and infection control policies
- Accountability in job performance
- Physical capability for prolonged standing and lifting up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment
