Cardiovascular Technologist

About the role

The Cardiovascular Technologist will be involved in direct cardiac care, using advanced imaging technology to support diagnostic and interventional procedures. Essential duties include preparing equipment, delivering patient care, maintaining records, and ensuring the safe operation of equipment.

Responsibilities

• Prepares equipment/room to capture appropriate images, per physicians' direction and department protocols.
• Delivers patient care for all age groups while performing exams/procedures.
• Maintains records and logs as required by department protocols and licensure requirements.
• Performs incidental general office duties such as answering phones and managing inventory.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited school of Radiological Technology and one year of recent related work experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Basic Life Support - CPR, and Advanced Cardiac Life Support, upon hire.
• Medical Radiographer: WA, and Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist, Registered Cardiac Sonographer CCI, or Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT, upon hire.

Qualifications

To qualify, candidates must possess advanced technical proficiency in cardiovascular imaging, a meticulous attention to detail, a commitment to patient safety, and a drive for continuous learning within a dynamic and collaborative Cath Lab team.

Skills

Strong technical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are essential. Proficiency in using advanced radiologic equipment is required.

Pay

The posted compensation range is $47.03 - $77.80 /hour, reflecting the lowest to highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting.

Schedule

The schedule is Monday - Friday, 6:30am - 7:00pm.
