Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another of a different nature without loss of efficiency or composure
- Scrub Role: Functions as the scrub technologist using sterile techniques to assist physicians during interventional and catheter-based procedures
- Fluoroscopy Support: Position and manipulate fluoroscopy unit under personal or direct supervision of a qualified supervising provider
- Monitor Role (Hemodynamic & Procedural Monitoring): Functions as the primary monitor technologist, recording hemodynamic data, pressures, and procedural events
- Department Support: Assist with managing supplies, restocking procedure room, tracking expiration dates, rotating stock, and receiving, unpacking, labeling, and shelving incoming inventory
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required, graduate of a Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) program desired
- Experience: Minimum two years of experience as a CVT, RCVT, RCIS, or scrubbing in interventional cases in either an International Radiology or Cath Lab performing vascular or cath lab diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Licenses, Certifications, And/or Registrations: Current BLS and ACLS certification, NIH Stroke Scale certification (ACLS and NIH stroke scale course certificate within 6 months of hire), and certifications specific to areas of clinical specialty preferred (e.g., RCIS)
Pay
40 Hours: USD $39.65/Hr.
Standard Hours: USD $66.39/Hr.
