Responsibilities

• Under supervision, functions as a member of a team utilizing equipment and services.
• Sets up, operates and monitors specialized equipment and supplies utilized for cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures.
• Functions as assistant to cardiologist or surgeons during catheter-based and device implant procedures.

Education Qualifications

• Central: Must be a graduate of a Radiology Technology, Cardiovascular Technology or equivalent program. If not a graduate of above programs must have 4 years of direct cath lab experience.
• West: Graduation from an accredited Cardiovascular Technology/Radiologic Technology school.

Licensure/Certification Qualifications

• Must be currently registered Radiological Technologist or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist or must become RT(R) or RCIS certified within 18 months of hire or transfer.
• Current Certification (or within 1 month of hire) as American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS).
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (or within 6 months of hire).
• West: Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required within 1 month of hire or transfer.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support required within 6 months of hire or transfer.
• Current license issued by the North Dakota Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Board (NDMIRTB).
• Must be Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification within 24 months of hire/transfer.

Pay

Compensation Range: $33.94 - $50.91
