About the Role

Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including X-rays, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, CT, and MRI to assist Radiologists in diagnosis. Prepare patients, ensure proper positioning, and assist with invasive and hemodynamic procedures such as catheter placements, device deployments, and monitoring. Maintain equipment, document clinical information, and support sterile procedures. Communicate effectively with team members, patients, and families to ensure a positive experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with pre-procedure education and patient preparation
• Set up sterile equipment and support invasive procedures
• Maintain and document imaging equipment
• Collaborate with healthcare team to optimize patient care and safety
• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures (X-rays, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, CT, MRI)
• Assist with hemodynamic procedures, including catheter placements and device deployments
• Ensure proper patient positioning and monitor during procedures

Requirements

• ARRT Radiography registration
• Medical Radiographer license
• Basic Life Support (CPR) certification
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (within 6 months of hire)
• Experience in diagnostic imaging and patient positioning
• Proficiency in sterile technique
• Strong motor skills and teamwork abilities
