Patient Care Technician Regional Float

About the role

Dialysis Shift Times & Requirements: Work Days: Monday through Saturday, Weekends: Required to work every other Saturday and No Sunday shifts, Shift Times: Must be flexible to work rotating shifts starting as early as 3am. DaVita is hiring a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support patients with end-stage renal disease in an outpatient dialysis clinic.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, hygienic, and compassionate dialysis care
• Monitor patients before, during, and after treatment
• Set up and maintain dialysis equipment
• Record vital signs and patient data
• Educate patients on treatment and kidney health
• Collaborate with nurses, dietitians, social workers, and other care team members

Requirements

• Accredited High School diploma, general education development (“GED”) credential, or equivalent
• Comfortable around blood, needles, and medical equipment
• Physically able to work long shifts on your feet
• Willing to float between local clinics if needed
• Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Qualifications

Preferred: CNA, MA, CHT, phlebotomy certification, or healthcare experience

Skills

No experience required, paid training to become a CCHT in as early as 6 months, and opportunity to grow into an RN through the "Bridge to Your Dreams" program.
