About the role

The Department of Radiology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Associate or Full Professor positions in the non-tenure clinician educator track.

Responsibilities

  • Daily clinical supervision of residents and cardiovascular imaging fellows
  • Lecturing to medical students, radiology residents, fellows and trainees from other departments
  • Interpreting in all aspects of cardiovascular radiology, including cardiac CT, cardiac MRI, and vascular CTA and MRA
  • Participating in shared after-hours and weekend coverage
  • Leading a focused body of research in the field of Cardiovascular Imaging, including novel cardiovascular imaging techniques, MR and CT physics, health services research, health policy, and artificial intelligence

Requirements

  • An M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree
  • American Board of Radiology certification or eligibility with appropriate sub-specialty training
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience

Qualifications

  • Prior research experience
  • Demonstrated evidence of peer-reviewed scholarship
  • Mentorship to aspiring junior faculty seeking to develop a research career in the field of cardiothoracic imaging

Skills

  • Specialized expertise in Cardiovascular Imaging
  • Collaboration with cardiologists for comprehensive care
