About the role
The Department of Radiology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure clinician educator track.
Responsibilities
- Daily clinical supervision of residents and cardiovascular imaging fellows
- Lecturing to medical students, radiology residents, fellows and trainees from other departments
- Interpreting in all aspects of cardiovascular radiology, including cardiac CT, cardiac MRI, and vascular CTA and MRA
- Participating in shared after-hours and weekend coverage
- Developing a focused body of research in a field within cardiovascular radiology
Requirements
- An M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree
- American Board of Radiology certification or eligibility with appropriate sub-specialty training
Qualifications
- Prior research experience and evidence of peer-reviewed scholarship
- Foster a collaborative environment, encouraging partnerships across clinical disciplines, with basic scientists, and beyond the school of medicine
Skills
- Specialized expertise in cardiovascular radiology
- Collaboration with cardiologists for comprehensive care
