Cardiovascular Imaging - Clinician--Educator - Junior Rank

About the role

The Department of Radiology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure clinician educator track.

Responsibilities

• Daily clinical supervision of residents and cardiovascular imaging fellows
• Lecturing to medical students, radiology residents, fellows and trainees from other departments
• Interpreting in all aspects of cardiovascular radiology, including cardiac CT, cardiac MRI, and vascular CTA and MRA
• Participating in shared after-hours and weekend coverage
• Developing a focused body of research in a field within cardiovascular radiology

Requirements

• An M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree
• American Board of Radiology certification or eligibility with appropriate sub-specialty training

Qualifications

• Prior research experience and evidence of peer-reviewed scholarship
• Foster a collaborative environment, encouraging partnerships across clinical disciplines, with basic scientists, and beyond the school of medicine

Skills

• Specialized expertise in cardiovascular radiology
• Collaboration with cardiologists for comprehensive care
