About the role
The Department of Radiology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Instructor positions in the Academic Support Staff. This appointment will be initially for one (1) year and continuation during that time period and renewal are based on satisfactory performance and availability of funding (limited to three (3) years).
Responsibilities
- Interpreting in all aspects of cardiovascular radiology, including cardiac CT, cardiac MRI, and vascular CTA and MRA.
- Participating in shared after-hours and weekend coverage.
- Developing research credentials with support from the Division Chief.
- Preparing for an academic and/or clinical career through research and educational support.
- Developing a specialized research focus in consultation with the Division Chief.
Requirements
- An M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree.
- American Board of Radiology certification or eligibility, with appropriate sub-specialty training.
Qualifications
- Expertise in the specific area of Cardiovascular Imaging.
Skills
- Strong clinical skills in cardiovascular radiology.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
