Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Associate - Locum Tenens

About the Role

Join a facility providing comprehensive cardiothoracic surgical services, requiring coverage for inpatient, outpatient, clinic, and OR settings. Support staff is available on-site, and the facility is equipped with modern surgical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-scope cardiothoracic surgery coverage, including assisting in the OR, managing clinics, and hospital rounding.
• Deliver patient care for adult populations with a caseload of 1-2 cases daily.
• Maintain prescriptive authority and ensure quality patient management across settings.
• Work scheduled day shifts with additional 24-hour call coverage on weekends.

Requirements

• Board certification in relevant specialty.
• Ability to provide comprehensive patient management and support across multiple clinical environments.
• Experience with adult cardiothoracic surgery preferred.
