Responsibilities
- Assist in surgeries
- Write prescriptions
- Perform rounding
- Order tests
- Conduct pre-operation physical exams
- Remove sutures
- Harvest veins in both inpatient and outpatient settings
Schedule
Monday–Friday, 7:00 am – 4:00 pm with night call from 4:00 pm – 7:00 am.
Requirements
- Active certifications from the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants
- Indiana licensure
Skills & Tools
- Experience with EPIC EMR system
- Ability to handle surgical assistance, physical exams, and test ordering
