Cardiothoracic Surgery Nurse Practitioner (NP)

Join a growing Cardiothoracic Surgery program seeking an experienced Physician Assistant with femoral vein harvesting experience (radial harvesting preferred). This is an OR-focused position supporting a high-acuity cardiac surgery service line with additional CVICU coverage alongside dedicated critical care APPs. Responsibilities

• Perform femoral vein harvesting (required)
• Assist with radial artery harvesting and robotic surgery (preferred)
• Provide OR-focused support for high-acuity cardiac surgery service line
• Share CVICU responsibilities with dedicated critical care APPs
• Utilize Epic EMR for documentation
• Participate in teaching opportunities
• Support advanced cardiothoracic program including VA & VV ECMO, Impella, and IABP
• Contribute to growing TAVR and minimally invasive valve program
• Assist with on-pump, off-pump, hybrid, and MICS CABG procedures
• Participate in comprehensive thoracic and foregut surgery cases

Requirements

• NCCPA-certified Physician Assistant
• Graduate of an accredited PA program
• Prior Cardiothoracic Surgery PA experience required
• New York license or eligibility
• Five years of CTS experience preferred

$165,500–$240,000 base salary
