Cardiothoracic Surgery Nurse Practitioner - Locum Tenens

Position Overview

The nurse practitioner will provide inpatient cardiothoracic surgical coverage in a Level 2 trauma center, performing procedures such as EVH, CABG, and aortic valve surgeries.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage adult patients in ICU and OR settings with 8-10 hour day shifts.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure continuity of care across the cardiothoracic service line.
• Participate in call duties as required.
• Follow a rotating schedule with 7 on/off shifts.

Qualifications & Skills

• Board certification in relevant specialty.
• Prescriptive authority is mandatory.
• Experience performing EVH, CABG, and aortic valve procedures preferred.
