Cardiothoracic Surgery Nurse Practitioner - Locum Tenens

About the role

Provide inpatient cardiothoracic surgical coverage as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) in a specialized cardiovascular facility. Assist in the operating room, perform vein harvesting, and deliver 24-hour call coverage on-site during shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the operating room during cardiothoracic surgeries
• Perform vein harvesting procedures
• Provide 24-hour on-site call coverage during assigned shifts
• Manage a variable caseload for adult patients

Requirements

• Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner
• Ability to work in a high-volume, variable caseload environment
