Cardiothoracic Surgery NP - Locum Tenens

About the role

This role involves providing cardiothoracic surgery coverage across inpatient, outpatient, and clinic settings on day shifts, with additional call responsibilities including 24-hour call. The clinician will handle a case load of approximately 10-13 patients per day and utilize the EPIC EMR system for documentation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive surgical care in a Level II facility with on-site support staff such as MAs, RNs, and NP/PAs
• Manage patient care across all ages in both inpatient and outpatient settings
• Complete all clinical documentation accurately using EPIC EMR

Qualifications

• Board certification in cardiothoracic surgery
• Prescriptive authority
