About the role
This position provides cardiothoracic surgery coverage in a Level 1 trauma facility equipped with modern technology and an EPIC EMR system. Clinicians will work on-site Monday through Friday, managing an average of 10 patients daily in both clinic and operating room settings.
Responsibilities
- Perform cardiothoracic surgical procedures
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Participate in call duties as negotiated
Requirements
- Board certification in cardiothoracic surgery
- Prescriptive authority
Work Environment
- Level 1 trauma facility with modern equipment and EPIC EMR
- Support staff available to assist
- Patient population includes all ages
