Cardiothoracic Surgeon

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient care for cardiac and thoracic surgical cases, including coronary artery bypass grafting, valve replacements, thoracic and vascular procedures, carotid endarterectomy, and pericardial window.
• Handle call duties as scheduled and support the facility's surgical needs.
• Perform complex surgical procedures, ensure patient safety, and collaborate with healthcare teams.
• Maintain credentialing requirements and provide high-quality patient care in an inpatient setting.

Qualifications

• Board certification in cardiothoracic surgery
• ACLS certification
• Fellowship preferred
• Licensure in Tennessee or through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact

Skills

• Experience with Cerner EMR (advantageous)
