Cardiothoracic Surgeon

About the role

Memorial Health University Medical Center is seeking a full-time Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join its well-established and highly regarded Cardiothoracic Surgery practice within the expanding Heart and Vascular Institute in beautiful Savannah, GA.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with a dedicated team of interventional and noninvasive cardiologists as well as a rapidly growing structural heart and advanced valve program
• Collaborate with a collegial team of two experienced Cardiovascular Surgeons within a comprehensive program
• Perform the full range of adult open-heart and structural heart procedures (excluding ventricular assist devices and transplants)
• Participate in clinical research and trials

Requirements

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Cardiothoracic Surgery
• Fellowship trained in adult Cardiac Surgery preferred
• Proficient in all aspects of adult cardiothoracic surgery
• Experience with multi-arterial CABG, minimally invasive coronary surgery, MIDCAB procedures, and/or interest in robotic-assisted coronary and Totally Endoscopic Coronary Artery Bypass (TECAB) techniques is highly desirable but not required

Qualifications

• Eligible for or holding an unrestricted Georgia medical license (free of restrictions, probationary terms, or conditions)
• No history of license revocation, restriction, or suspension in any jurisdiction
• Holding current, unrestricted DEA registration
