Responsibilities

• Provides a full range of cardiothoracic surgical care to patients of Legacy Health in office, outpatient, or inpatient settings, including the full and expected mix of patient problems and surgical approaches
• Provides consultation on cardiothoracic surgical issues
• Completes medical records, coding and billing schedules and forms, and other needed paperwork in a timely fashion
• Works with other specialists (radiology, cardiology) to develop a comprehensive Legacy cardiovascular surgery program

Qualifications

• Graduate of four-year U.S. Medical School or equivalent
• Completion of general surgery residency
• Fellowship in Cardiothoracic Surgery
• Applicable medical license and DEA certificate
• Board Certified in Thoracic Surgery
• ACLS required
