Today, this unique clinical partnership has resulted in the formation of a top-tier heart and vascular program serving the needs of patients throughout the Colorado Front Range.

Responsibilities

• Your primary practice will be based in Denver, CO at our CT Surgery clinic and Saint Joseph Hospital.
• You will participate in a shared call model to help with coverage at Denver Health and Lutheran Hospital in Wheat Ridge, CO.
• Saint Joseph Hospital has earned 3-out-of-3 stars from the Society of Thoracic Surgeons (STS) for patient care and outcomes in coronary artery bypass graft surgery (CABG), and aortic valve replacement (AVR), and is well known for mitral valve replacement/repair (MVRR).
• Take shared call at 2 hospitals (APPs also take calls floor/ ICU/ practice/OR call).
• Large, matured CT practice with collaborative relationships and referral patterns.
• Full ICU support with excellent group of Intensivists on site 24/7.
• A thriving Structural Heart Program including TAVR, M-TEER, T-TEER, TTVR (Evoque) and multiple ongoing Structural Heart research trials.
• A dedicated shock program as an ECMO site.
• The Medical Group is a physician-led group with the administrative support of a larger hospital system.

Requirements

• MD/DO Education
• Unrestricted license in Colorado or able to obtain
• Board Certified in Cardiothoracic Surgery
• DEA
• Minimum of 3 years experience

• We are looking for an aggressive program builder in CV surgery, or an interest in building a niche like thoracic, minimally invasive mitral valve, or a large ECMO focus, etc.

Pay

Compensation: We offer a highly competitive compensation package featuring a base salary of $957,000; along with a wRVU-based incentive structure. You may also earn up to a $75,000 annual quality bonus. Additional incentives include a $25,000 sign-on bonus and relocation assistance of up to $20,000, if applicable.
