About the role
The Emory University School of Medicine, Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences, is offering a full-time one-year Cardiothoracic Imaging Fellowship.
Responsibilities
- Gain experience in chest radiography, chest CT, CT/MR vascular imaging, cardiac MR and cardiac CT.
- Rotate between Emory University Hospital and Grady Memorial Hospital.
- Exposure to a diverse patient population including interstitial lung disease, lung transplantation, advanced cardiothoracic surgery, trauma, and indigent care.
- Participate in various weekly and bimonthly clinical conferences.
- Work closely with cardiology, pulmonary medicine, vascular surgery, and cardiothoracic surgery services.
- Utilize state-of-the-art equipment including Siemens dual source Force, General Electric Revolution Apex, Canon Aquilion One, and various Siemens, GE, Philips top CT scanners; on the MR side, Emory uses systems like Siemens 1.5-T Magnetom Altea, Magnetom Sola and Avanto, and 3-T Trio MRI scanners.

- Prepare for academic or private practice positions after completion of the fellowship.
Requirements
- AABR Board-certified or eligible.
- Complete a US or Canadian residency program.
- Eligible to obtain an unrestricted Georgia medical license.
