About the role

The Cleveland Clinic, one of the world’s most distinguished academic medical centers, is growing its team of Cardiothoracic Anesthesiologists at our Main Campus in Cleveland, Ohio. We are inviting early and mid-career Cardiothoracic Anesthesiologists to join our expanding practice with the anticipation of increased volume of cases in the upcoming year.

Responsibilities

• Care for cardiac, thoracic, vascular surgical and interventional cardiology patients under staff physician-led anesthesia teams.
• Participate in educational activities in the operating theater as well as, in-person or remote learning sessions.
• Hold an academic rank in the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University.
• Receive support for academic, research and advancement activities as appropriate.
• Enjoy a dynamic surgical schedule with personal and family needs and expectations balanced.

Requirements

• Commitment to work within a team with empathy and integrity.
• A medical degree from an accredited university or medical school (or foreign equivalent).
• Board certification (or eligibility) by the American Board of Anesthesiology.
• Fellowship training (or equivalent experience) in Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology.
• Diplomate status in Advanced Perioperative Transesophageal Echocardiography by the National Board of Echocardiography (or foreign equivalent).
• An Ohio medical license.

Qualifications

• Medical degree from accredited university or medical school (or foreign equivalent).
• Board certified (or eligible) by the American Board of Anesthesiology.
• Fellowship training (or equivalent experience) in Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology.
• Diplomate status in Advanced Perioperative Transesophageal Echocardiography by the National Board of Echocardiography (or foreign equivalent).
• An Ohio medical license eligibility.

• Compensation package that is well above the 85% national average, which includes enterprise-matched deferred compensation.

Pay

Minimum salary: $520,000
Maximum salary: $615,500
