Cardiology Nurse Practitoner

About the role

This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated APP to join an employed position within a busy, well-respected practice, supported by a strong referral base and the full resources of a robust health system network. Join an established team of 11 physicians and 10 APPs. Practice setting: Outpatient cardiology clinic. Access to established cardiovascular services with state of the art patient rooms and facilities; outstanding surgical support with robotic surgery capability. Employed position within a nonprofit health system.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care to patients in an outpatient setting.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive patient care.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of high-quality cardiovascular services.
• Support the educational and professional development of peers and staff.

Requirements

• Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Education: Master's degree of Nursing required.

• Experience in outpatient cardiology preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of relevant medical and nursing practices.
