Cardiology Nurse Practitioner

Responsibilities

• 4 10-hour shifts – outpatient only
• 1:1 APP to MD/DO
• 14 patients/day with flexible daily schedule as long as patient quota met
• Call 1 major holiday per year and 3-5 weekends per year

Qualifications

• Required Education: Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program, and Masters of Science Degree in Nursing (MSN)
• Required Experience: Minimum of five (5+) years of progressive experience in area of specialization
• Required Certifications and Licensures: Current licensure by the Virginia State Board of Nursing as a Nurse Practitioner with prescriptive authority. Maintains BLS and ACLS Certifications. Hold a current, active license as a registered nurse in Virginia or hold a current multistate licensure privilege as a registered nurse. Nationally recognized certification in field of specialization
