Cardiology NP / PA

Join a well-established team of 3 Physicians and 2 Advanced Practitioners in this clinic-based outpatient role in Melrose, MA. Both experienced and new graduate candidates will be considered, with previous experience in Cardiology preferred.

About the role

Provide clinical care to patients with a broad range of cardiovascular conditions in an outpatient setting. Collaborate closely with cardiologists, primary care physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to evaluate, manage, and optimize treatment plans for patients with acute and chronic cardiac disease. Focus on improving cardiovascular outcomes, supporting chronic disease management, and enhancing patient quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage a broad spectrum of cardiology conditions in the outpatient setting
• Develop longitudinal relationships with patients
• Collaborate with cardiologists and multidisciplinary team members to provide coordinated, patient-centered care
• Focus on quality outcomes, preventive care, and chronic disease management
• Work cross-functionally with various members of the community and stakeholders
• Contribute to a flexible work environment that values work-life balance
• Actively engage within communities, bridging academic and community care

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited and/or approved Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
• Current license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
• Current certification in CPR
• Cardiology, primary care, internal medicine, or related advanced practice experience preferred
• A team player who is excited to work cooperatively with a wide range of stakeholders and disciplines

Pay

Base pay range: $124,800.00 - $156,000.00
