CARDIOGRAPHIC TECHNICIAN
About the Role
Perform EKGs, holter monitor application, and event monitor application. Perform treadmill testing and vascular plethysmography. Prepare and relay preliminary reports to proper referring and/or reading physician.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved Cardiographic Technician program or equivalent work experience AND successful completion of the CCI Credentialing Certification for Cardiographic Technicians
- Current BLS certification
- Must attend and successfully complete a hospital-sponsored arrhythmias course within the first six months of employment
- Good basic understanding of cardiac anatomy/physiology, basic arrhythmia, and vascular hemodynamics
