Cardiac/Stroke Clinical Nurse

About the Role

Provides direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards. Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, medication, and post-treatment needs. Collaborates with the healthcare team to develop, implement, and document individualized care plans, ensuring effective communication across the care continuum.

Utilizes critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and barriers. Maintains a safe working environment, adhering to safety protocols as this is a safety-sensitive position.

Qualifications

• Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing (Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred)
• Active RN license
• No prior experience required; less than 2 years of experience preferred
