About the role

Join a 31-bed Cardiac/Stroke Unit providing comprehensive care for neuro patients in a full-time day shift role. The position offers benefits eligibility and a sign-on bonus opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation in accordance with nursing standards.
• Promote patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, medication, and post-treatment needs.
• Ensure patient safety, participate in quality improvement, and maintain regulatory compliance.
• Develop and document individualized care plans in collaboration with the care team, patients, and families, ensuring seamless communication across care settings.
• Utilize critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, values, and cultural backgrounds.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing.
• Licensure: Valid RN license.
• Experience: No prior experience required; preferred < 2 years with a Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
