About the role
Diagnostics Imaging Solutions (DIS) is a subsidiary of Catalyst MedTech, offering mobile nuclear cardiology services across the nation. We are seeking a Cardiac Stress Technician who can work independently and enjoy a flexible schedule.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for cardiac stress testing procedures.
- Assess patient vital signs and establish I.V. access using aseptic technique.
- Set up and monitor patients through treadmill and pharmacologic stress testing, including 12 lead EKG monitoring and patient symptom assessment.
- Prepare and administer pharmacological stress agents, ensuring accurate dose calculations and patient safety.
- Accurately document patient test results and medical history using online PACS systems.
- Initiate BLS and ACLS algorithms to manage patient symptoms in emergencies, under physician supervision.
- Provide excellent customer service and patient care.
- Travel to client sites as scheduled, driving company vans while adhering to DOT regulations and following radiation safety guidelines.
- Perform additional administrative tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- Active Paramedic License OR Licensed Practical Nurse License.
- Completion of an accredited emergency care, paramedicine, or nursing program.
- Active BLS and ACLS certifications.
- At least 1 year of experience with 12-Lead EKG placement and interpretation, I.V. insertion, and patient care.
- Ability to push/pull heavy medical equipment and assist patients.
- Valid Driver’s License.

Pay
- Medical Coverage starting at $78.00 per pay for individual and increasing based on plan and dependent coverage options.
- Dental Coverage starting at $6.16 per pay for individual and increasing based on plan and dependent coverage options.
- Vision Coverage starting at $1.61 per pay for individual and increasing dependent coverage options.
Schedule
Monday – Friday, Daylight Shift.
Driving Company Van
Employees are responsible for driving company vans while adhering to DOT regulations and following radiation safety guidelines.
Physical Demands
- Ability to sit for long periods of time.
- Walking, stooping, turning, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
