Cardiac PCU - Clinical RN (Days or Nights)

About the role

This position involves providing direct patient care for acute and intermediate cardiology conditions, including heart failure management, high-risk drips, and telemetry monitoring. It requires critical assessment, planning, and implementation of individualized care plans in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team. The role emphasizes patient and family education, safety, quality compliance, and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional patient needs using critical nursing skills.
• Develop, implement, and document personalized care plans with clear goals, ensuring coordination across care teams.
• Educate patients and families on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
• Participate in safety, quality, and regulatory activities, along with ongoing professional growth.
• Promote a healing environment centered on patient and family engagement.

Qualifications & Skills

• Required: Nursing Diploma/Associate's Degree, RN licensure, BLS certification, and ACLS certification within one year.
• Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and at least 2 years of experience.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
