Cardiac PCU - Clinical RN (Days or Nights)

About the Role

Provides direct patient care for acute and intermediate conditions in a high-acuity cardiology unit, including heart failure management, post-transplant care, and telemetry monitoring. Utilizes critical thinking and clinical expertise to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.

Responsibilities

• Promotes patient and family-centered care through education on illness management and post-treatment needs.
• Participates in safety, quality, and regulatory activities, and contributes to professional development.
• Develops and documents individualized care plans collaboratively, ensuring effective communication across care teams.
• Assesses physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and cultural considerations.
• Maintains safety standards, working in a constant state of alertness.

Requirements

• Minimum Education: Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree; Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• Licenses & Certifications: Valid RN license; ACLS certification within one year; BLS required.
• Experience: No prior experience required; less than 2 years preferred.
