Supporting Exceptional Cardiac Care – Flexible PRN Opportunity

Responsibilities

• Perform transthoracic echocardiograms for inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department patients.
• Prepare patient charts and review prior echocardiogram, stress echo, and transesophageal echo studies for physician interpretation.
• Explain procedures, obtain patient history, and answer patient questions.
• Obtain accurate cardiac measurements and diagnostic images according to established protocols.
• Document patient information, complete charting, and ensure timely billing and reporting.
• Absorb and assist physicians during transesophageal echocardiogram (TEE) and stress echo procedures.
• Maintain quality imaging standards and support positive patient experiences.

Requirements

• Completion of a two- or three-year accredited program in diagnostic medical sonography, cardiovascular technology, radiologic technology, or a related healthcare field, or equivalent training and experience.
• Current CPR certification required.
• One of the following certifications required, or registry eligible: ARDMS, RDCS, RCVT, RVT, ARRTE.
• Equivalent credential registry-eligible candidates must obtain registry credentials within two years of hire.
• Previous echocardiography or cardiac ultrasound experience preferred.
