The CT Technologist is responsible for delivering safe, high-quality imaging and supporting a positive patient experience at Acworth Health Park. They operate imaging equipment independently, capturing diagnostic images while adhering to safety protocols and ALARA principles. Key duties include preparing patients, verifying orders, explaining procedures, and ensuring patient comfort and safety using AIDET. They perform exams, administer contrast, and review images for diagnostic quality, making corrections as needed. The role involves maintaining equipment and rooms per infection control standards, documenting procedures accurately in RIS/PACS, and responding to emergencies. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent, completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, minimum 1 year radiology experience, ARRT (Radiography and CT), and BLS certification.Skills & Responsibilities: Technical proficiency in CT imaging, patient communication, infection control, equipment maintenance, accurate documentation, and teamwork to support department operations.
