About the Role
The Cardiac Cath Lab Assistant Nurse Manager oversees patient care, staff management, equipment maintenance, and departmental operations in a specialized cardiovascular setting.
Responsibilities
- Managing staffing, hiring, training, performance evaluations, and professional development.
- Ensuring departmental productivity aligns with operational goals and budget adherence.
- Coordinating patient care based on assessment, diagnosis, and treatment plans, including administering conscious sedation and monitoring patient responses.
- Leading team communication, conducting meetings, and handling staffing needs, overtime, and performance reviews.
- Maintaining a safe environment, complying with policies, and supporting quality patient care.
- Managing staff, ensuring quality patient care, maintaining equipment, facilitating communication, and supporting operational and safety goals within a high-tech cardiac facility.
Requirements
- BSN or MSN required; RN license essential.
- 2-5 years of nursing experience; 5-10 years preferred.
- Experience in procedural or critical care nursing; Cardiac Cath Lab or Electrophysiology experience preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required or obtainable within 90 days.

- Leadership skills in staff supervision, performance management, and team coordination.
