Role Overview

This position is for a Cardiac Cath Lab Assistant Nurse Manager responsible for overseeing patient care, personnel management, equipment maintenance, and departmental operations within a leading hospital's cardiovascular division. The role involves managing staff hiring, training, performance evaluations, and professional development, while ensuring operational and financial goals are met. The Nurse Manager creates collaborative care plans based on assessments and medical treatments, supervises staffing and productivity, and maintains compliance with safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Managing team performance, staffing, and professional development
• Developing and monitoring departmental budgets and operational goals
• Providing patient care aligned with clinical protocols and documentation policies
• Coordinating care plans based on assessments and medical interventions
• Handling staff scheduling, payroll, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions
• Ensuring safety and adherence to regulatory standards

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN/MSN accepted)
• 2-5 years of nursing experience, with preferred 5-10 years
• RN licensure is required; supervisory experience is preferred
• Additional certification in BLS/ACLS is required or must be obtained within 90 days

Skills and Attributes

• Strong leadership, critical thinking, and clinical expertise
• Experience in cardiac cath labs or procedural/critical care nursing is preferred
• Ability to manage staff, coordinate operations, and ensure quality patient care
