Car Wash Lead

About the Role

Full-time position at Store 2743601 (773 Ambassador Drive, Wadsworth, Ohio 44281) requiring weekday and weekend availability.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, excellent customer service in a courteous, friendly, and attentive manner.
• Greet customers, answer questions, and explain wash options available.
• Ensure customer satisfaction; report inquiries, incidents, and issues in a timely manner.
• Complete all Car Wash Attendant job duties.
• Troubleshoot basic XPT and DRB issues; follow “DRB Protocol.”
• Read “Supervisor Level DRB” training course.
• Attend Preventative Maintenance Training and complete 5-Day Preventative Maintenance.
• Report to work on time and follow dress and appearance code.
• Maintain site upkeep, including cleaning and maintaining the facility (30% of duties).
• Perform opening and closing procedures (5% of duties).
• Conduct basic troubleshooting (5% of duties).
• Enforce all safety policies.
• Understand functions of all chemical room equipment.
• Assist Site Manager with tunnel and chemical room equipment repairs.
• Clean out solenoids.

Customer interaction comprises 60% of duties. Minimum 6 months as a Car Wash Attendant required before advancement.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, including active listening.
• Strong sales and customer service skills.
• Ability to anticipate customer needs.
• Must be able to work weekends.
• Demonstrate responsibility while Site Manager is off site.
• Customer service and car wash experience preferred.

Physical Demands

• Frequently stand, walk, use hands, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, crouch, and kneel throughout the workday.
• Work in damp, humid, and outdoor variable weather conditions.
• Lift and/or move objects up to 25 lbs regularly and occasionally up to 50 lbs.

Working Environment

The position works in a typical outdoor car wash environment with moderate to excessively loud noise levels, requiring hearing protection and other Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as eye, foot, and hand protection. Must adhere to OSHA safety guidelines and protocols.

Supervision

Must be able to work with minimum direction and periodic supervision.
