Car Wash Lead

Store 2743601: 773 Ambassador Drive, Wadsworth, Ohio 44281. Full-time position requiring weekday and weekend availability.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, excellent customer service in a courteous, friendly, and attentive manner.
• Greet customers, answer questions, and explain wash options available.
• Ensure customer satisfaction; report inquiries, incidents, and issues in a timely manner.
• Complete all Car Wash Attendant job duties, including troubleshooting basic XPT and DRB issues and following “DRB Protocol.”
• Read “Supervisor Level DRB” training course and attend Preventative Maintenance Training; complete 5-Day Preventative Maintenance.
• Report to work on time and follow the dress and appearance code.
• Minimum 6 months as CWA required before advancement.
• Breakdown of duties:
  • 60% Customer Interaction
  • 30% Site Upkeep (Cleaning/Maintaining)
  • 5% Opening/Closing Procedures
  • 5% Basic Troubleshooting
• Enforce all safety policies and understand the functions of all chemical room equipment.
• Assist Site Manager with tunnel and chemical room equipment repairs, including cleaning out solenoids.
• Demonstrate responsibility while Site Manager is off site.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, including active listening.
• Excellent sales and customer service skills.
• Ability to anticipate customer needs.
• Able to work weekends.

Physical Demands

• Frequently stand and walk throughout the workday; use of hands; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stop, crouch, and kneel.
• Work in damp and humid conditions, as well as outdoor variable weather conditions.
• Lift and/or move objects up to 25lbs regularly and occasionally up to 50lbs.

Experience

Customer service and some car wash experience preferred.

Working Environment

• Work in a typical outdoor car wash environment with moderate to excessively loud noise levels; hearing protection and other PPE required.
• Adhere to OSHA safety guidelines and protocols, including wearing Personal Protective Equipment such as hearing, eye, foot, and hand protection.

Supervision

Must be able to work with minimum direction and periodic supervision.
