About the role

A Car Sales Representative at DARCARS of Rockville will sell new and used vehicles, provide excellent customer service, and help achieve the dealership's sales targets. The role involves engaging with customers in person and virtually, working closely with colleagues across various departments.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct business professionally and ethically
  • Follow DARCARS selling approach
  • Greet customers warmly and listen to their needs
  • Describe vehicle features and match them to customer requirements
  • Use video tools to assist customers
  • Work with the finance team to secure financing
  • Complete necessary paperwork and arrange vehicle delivery and registration
  • Address customer concerns and ensure satisfaction
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of brands and products
  • Develop and manage a follow-up system for prospects and existing customers
  • Participate in brand and dealership training
  • Utilize digital retailing tools
  • Make effective demonstration rides
  • Develop personal income goals and strategies to meet them
  • Comply with dealership policies and procedures

Requirements

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to speak Spanish (a plus)
  • Demonstrated commitment to customer service
  • Comfortable using video tools and virtual assistance
  • Previous sales experience preferred but not required
  • Flexible to work evenings and weekends
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • At least 18 years old
  • Passes pre-employment screening (background check)

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and stand for extended periods
  • Team player who can work collaboratively with colleagues
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and understanding instructions, correspondence, and policy documents

  • Knowledge of automotive brands and products
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency with digital retailing tools
