Car Sales Automotive Detailer - Rochester
About the role
The position is a part-time Automotive Detailer at Enterprise Mobility, located at 1300 Brooks Ave, Rochester, NY 14624. The pay is $18.25 per hour plus an additional $10 per professionally detailed vehicle.
Responsibilities
- Wash, clean, sanitize, inspect, and prepare a variety of vehicles, including cars, trucks, and vans, ensuring they meet high cleanliness and safety standards for customer rentals.
- Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interiors according to industry-standard protocols.
- Polish, wax, and buff the exterior of vehicles, including cars of different sizes, vans, and trucks.
- Vacuum the interior, floor, seats, ashtray, and trunk.
- Shampoo/clean carpets, floor mats, and upholstery.
- Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines or air purifiers to eliminate stains, pet hair, and odors.
- May use detail methods such as wet sand and clay bar.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area and report any unsafe or hazardous conditions.
- Apply engine degreaser application to the engine.
- Maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies.
- Exhibit a professional appearance and comply with all uniform and personal protective equipment requirements while adhering to local environmental regulations.
- Work outside in all types of weather and temperatures and in a typical office environment.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must have a valid driver's license with no more than 2 civil moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record in the last 3 years.
- No drug or alcohol related conviction on driving record in the past 5 years.
- Must have at least six (6) consecutive months of prior work/organizational experience.
