About the role

Performs various hospital food services duties (e.g., assembles, delivers, and retrieves patient trays, washes dishes, pots, carts, and service-ware support; sets up, and serves customers in cafeteria). Provides the highest quality of service and respect to others at all times.

Requirements

• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math
• Knowledge of and compliance with local, state, and federal food handling regulations (HACCP)
• Ability to assemble and pass trays
• Helpful and pleasant behavior when communicating with visitors, hospital personnel, physicians, and co‑workers
• Ability to effectively interact with patient/customer populations, understanding their needs for self‑respect and dignity
• Medium physical demand: exerts 20‑50 lb force occasionally, 10‑25 lb frequently, or negligible force continuously; able to be on feet most of the day, lift/push/pull light‑medium weight objects, occasionally heavy weight

Pay

$16.09/hr – $20.25/hr (base salary range; starting rate based on relevant experience, location, internal equity; hiring at the maximum of the range is not typical).

Schedule

Full‑time, 40 hours per week (Barberton Campus).
