About the role

The Capital Markets Department is seeking an associate with 3 to 6 years of experience to join our Charlotte office.

Responsibilities

  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating transaction documents related to commercial mortgage loan securitizations, including pooling and servicing agreements, offering documents, mortgage loan purchase agreements, certificate purchase agreements, placement agency agreements, legal opinions and related contracts.
  • Managing the closing process for complex transactions.

Requirements

  • A proactive sense of ownership over responsibilities.

Qualifications

  • Law degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Member of the Bar in the United States.

Skills

  • Ability to manage complex transactions.
